Fatherhood

I am a proud and devoted father to my 8-year-old son, Quincy. That boy completely transformed my life, arriving at a time when I needed him more than I could ever have imagined. He probably doesn’t realize it yet, but I needed him just as much as he needs me.

Coming from a broken family, with my father absent and being an only child, the concept of family has always been a bit of a puzzle for me. For most of my life, family meant my mom’s unwavering love and care—the only version of family that felt real to me. But when Quincy came into my life, I discovered a whole new depth to that feeling. Not only did I feel the love and connection I knew from my mom, but I also experienced a sense of purpose, joy, and completeness that I had never known.

Quincy has taught me what family truly means: showing up, giving your best, and creating lifetime memories. He inspires me daily to be the kind of father I never had and to break the cycle so he grows up with an unshakable sense of love and support from a strong male figure.

In our free time, we make the most of every moment together. Whether it’s bouncing at the trampoline park, catching the latest movies, or playing soccer, basketball, football, and video games, we’re always finding new ways to bond. We also love getting creative with drawing and coloring —it’s our little way of exploring the world together.

Fatherhood has been my greatest gift, and I’m grateful daily for the chance to walk this journey with Quincy by my side.
